Jessica Stein is a certified music educator for grades K-12 in both choral and instrumental music. Ms. Stein earned her Bachelors in Music Education from the prestigious Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University under the instruction of Dr. Audrey Cardany (vocal/general), Dr. Laura Parker (elementary instrumental), and Dr. Harlan Parker (secondary instrumental). In the fall of 2013, Ms. Stein completed her student teaching at Clarksville Elementary School in Clarksville, MD and at Oakland Mills Middle School in Columbia, MD. During her student teaching experience, Ms. Stein taught small group lessons as well as conducted full ensemble rehearsals in band and orchestra settings. In addition to teaching in public schools, Ms. Stein has coached high level students in other various settings. As an intern with the Peabody Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Harlan Parker, she was responsible for leading brass sectionals and for coaching trumpet students in the art of advanced orchestral playing. At the Baltimore School of the Arts, Ms. Stein worked as an Assistant Coach to the advanced high school brass quintet as they prepared for their final spring concert.
